Kiss Me Kate is a darling 4-month-old smooth Collie with a lot of love to give.  She came to us with a couple of her littermates from Tennessee through a snow storm in the Midwest.  It took some dedicated volunteers to help her make the journey.  And we are delighted to help her discover her forever family.

Kate and William are wonderful examples of the smooth Collie breed.  If Lassie had short hair, this is what she would look like.  The structure is the same, only the length of the fur is shorter. Collies are fabulous family dogs with a particular love of children.

We are looking for a happy family for Kate.  She would want another friendly canine to play rough and tumble with, kids to snuggle with and at least one adult that is home most of the time to help her become all the dog she can be.  Please read all about our organization and then think about whether you might be the right match for our Kate.  Application first, please.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us. We will look forward to hearing from you as well.
