Aidan is a 30# smooth Collie mix puppy from a local shelter. It is
unclear what other genes he might be carrying. His fur is just a
little too silky to be a purebred smoothie. He is about 6 months old,
neutered, microchipped and in excellent health, full of vim and vigor.
He is good with men, women, children and other dogs. We have not
introduced him to a cat yet but could certainly do so upon request.
It was difficult to get good photos of this little dude. He moves so
quickly and is trying to absorb everything all at once. He is super
smart and has housebroken himself (with my encouragement of course.)
He saw another dog sit upon request and looked at my big blue merle
rough-coated Collie Jack and then back at me. I swear a light bulb
went on over his head and he plopped his bottom down and waited for me
to say, "What a good dog to sit." I am sure he would excel in
obedience and make his new family look awesome. His leash manners are
not good but we are working on that everyday.
A puppy needs lots of training and springtime is a wonderful season
for that. We are looking for a potential family for Aidan that is
home a great deal and always planing fun and rewarding outings for him
too. He would love to watch a soccer game and root for his kids!
