Meet Clover!  Clover is part of the "weed bunch" that have come from a farm in Nebraska.  (The girls were flowers. Go figure! LOL)  He is a 2 1/2 month old sable headed white rough Collie puppy.  He is strong boned and sturdy and ready for an adventurous life.   He loves other dogs, especially other Collies.  He yips and squeals with delight when a game is about to commence.  He runs and dodges and leaps and shows off his potential agility skills.

Clover has had two of his puppy vaccines already.  RMCSR covers the expenses for vaccines and a neuter as well as a Home Again microchip and lifetime database registration.  He has been fitted with a Martingale collar and matching leash and is currently eating Diamond puppy kibble. There are lots of good quality dog foods on the market and you can get good ratings on a website called Dog Food Advisor.  Fromm and Wellness make excellent puppy formulas and your babies will grow to be big and glorious.  Remember, just like your children, good wholesome food and no junk fillers.  

In case you had not noticed, we are based in Colorado.  We have been getting applications from North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.  And I am sure we would adore these folks.  But let's be practical.  A potential adopter would need to come to the foster home of each pooch to do a meet and greet and that seems to be problematic in the dead of winter.

Clover can't read yet so we will be screening applications for him.  We are excited to hear from you.

Please begin the process for adoption by reading our Adoption Policies and, if we sound like the right group for you, fill out our online Adoption Application. From there, our receipt of your completed application will be confirmed by email. You then will receive a follow-up phone call if we feel you are a good potential applicant for the dog. Lots of good conversation with the foster family, a reference from your veterinarian, and a home visit round out the screening process. We take dog adoption very seriously.  Please put a lot of thought into why you want to adopt a dog, and help us make a good match for your family. We appreciate your taking the time to visit with us.
